Definition: The pressure reducing valve can reduce inlet pressure to a required outlet pressure by adjustment, and keep the outlet pressure in constant automatically.
Function: Lower down the pipeline working pressure, reducing a higher upstream pressure to a required level of downstream pressure.
Working principle: Taking advantage of the force balance relations between the diaphragm and spring inside pilot valve, the outlet pressure is set up through adjusting the spring pressure of pilot valve. The diaphragm transmits the difference of outlet pressure to actuate piston by switching on/off the pilot valve. And then the flow area in the throttling parts of main valve shall be adjusted to make pressure reduced and keep in constant.
